Who writes and reviews our content
Our country pages and blog articles are written and maintained by the Schengen Visa Support visa admin team in London, the same team that prepares Schengen applications for clients every week. Schengen Visa Support is an independent UK visa admin support service: we help with paperwork and we do not give UK immigration advice or legal advice.
Every page is checked against official sources before it is published and again whenever it is updated. The date at the top of each page is the date it was last reviewed, and the same date appears in the page's structured data and in our sitemap.
Sources we use
Every guide is researched from official sources first: embassy and consulate websites in London, the official visa application centres (VFS Global, TLScontact, GVCW, BLS International), the European Commission and EU legislation, and GOV.UK for UK immigration status. Each page lists the official sources we checked.
Fact-checking
Before publishing, every factual claim - visa centres, cities, fees, timelines, document requirements - is checked against those sources. Where a rule varies or cannot be confirmed, we say so rather than guess.
Reviews and updates
Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. We re-check pages regularly and whenever a consulate, visa centre or the EU announces a change. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected] and we will review it promptly.

We are not affiliated with any embassy, consulate, visa centre or the EU. We do not accept payment to recommend services. Our guides explain the official process even where that means you may not need our help.
